General
NSX1 and NSX2. What's the difference? The frame systems. The NSX1 is our traditional 4130 Chromoly frame weighing in at 515 grams. The NSX2 is a new, modular frame. The rails are tubular stainless steel, the frame is aluminum, weighing in at 420 grams.
Both the NSX1 and NSX2 Series saddles are the most comfortable leather bicycle saddles in the world. Leather that has no break-in period and a patented slot that moves underneath you as you ride are hallmarks of these famously comfortable saddles.

Seating Surface
Traditional saddle leather is soaked in water, molded in a press, and then baked. This process aligns the fibers in the leather and produces a very hard riding surface that can take years to break in. Our WaterShed leather tops are a combination of premium Full Grain American leather and a second layer of top grain leather which is glued to the bottom for just the right amount of support. The shape is formed by a patented process that uses a heated press to shape the leather while it is still dry, resulting in a much more supple and pliable seating surface that shapes to your specific contours in days, not years.

Frame and Rails
X Series saddles can be equipped with two different frames. Choose from a traditional style stamped metal frame that has been upgraded with heat treated 4130 chromoly steel in X1 or the new cast aluminum modular frame with stainless steel tube rails available on X2. Both provide industry leading adjustability and setback.
