March 2019 R2 Development Update
As the riding season approaches and customers anxiously await the delivery of their R2 pre-orders, we thought it would be good to give you an update on our progress. This weekend, we are previewing R2 prototypes at the North American Handmade Bike Show in Sacramento. If you're in the area, please stop by booth 618 to try R2 on a trainer.
As far as development is concerned, we have settled on a material and shore hardness for the rubber. We have placed an order with the rubber vendor and we expect material to arrive in 2-3 weeks. We will begin shipping parts to customers one week after the material arrives, probably the second week of April. If you ordered in November or early December, expect to receive your saddle the second or third week of April. Later orders will ship at the end of April, and possibly beginning of May, if there are unforeseen delays.
