Coming Soon: A New and Improved Series 2 Saddle

If you’ve been waiting on a Series 2 saddle, you’ve probably noticed they’ve been out of stock for quite a while. We’ve heard from many of you, and you deserve a clear update.

Fortunately, we have some good news: the Series 2 is coming back stronger than ever.

When we introduced the Series 2, our goal was to give riders two things. First, a modular frame they could repair or swap at home, without having to send the saddle back to our factory. Second, we wanted to offer a lighter overall build. By redesigning the frame, we cut roughly 100 grams compared to the Series 1, an important improvement for distance riders looking to minimize weight.

The Series 2 quickly became our most popular offering. Riders loved being able to tune, repair, and rebuild their saddle at home. But over time, we also began seeing a pattern: a weak point in the C-frame (the rear bracket) that could fail under certain conditions. Not often, but more often than we were comfortable with. And if you know us, you know we won’t keep selling a product until we’re confident it’s built to last.

Fixing that issue turned out to be a longer engineering journey than we expected. We tested multiple designs, broke a lot of aluminum on purpose, and went back to the drawing board more than once. Our second major prototype finally passed every lab test just this past month. It’s the most durable, reliable Series 2 frame we’ve ever produced.

Right now, we’re finalizing manufacturing plans and evaluating a few different suppliers to ensure the new C-frame meets our standards at scale. Once that’s locked in, production will begin. If everything stays on track, we expect to have new Series 2 saddles available within the next three months (just in time for spring riding season).

We know the wait has been long, and we can’t thank you enough for your patience. This is what rider-first craftsmanship looks like for us. When something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it the right way.

We’re excited to bring the Series 2 back — with the same lighter, modular design, now stronger than ever. Stay tuned for an official restock date.

Happy riding!
