Saddle Sauce

Protect your leather saddle from moisture with Selle Anatomica Saddle Sauce. Our proprietary leather protector creates a barrier against water and helps prevent damage that can shorten the life of your saddle. Apply a light coating to the underside and raw leather edges, including directly over the serial number sticker, and reapply as needed to maintain protection.

Saddle Sauce is a leather protector, not a conditioner. Do not apply it to the top riding surface of your Selle Anatomica saddle, and do not use leather conditioners or products containing solvents.

Protecting Your Saddle After a Wet Ride

If your Selle Anatomica X- or H-series saddle becomes saturated, allow it to dry completely before applying a fresh coat of Saddle Sauce:

1. Bring the bike or saddle indoors to a climate-controlled room.
2. Remove any saddle cover so trapped moisture can escape.
3. Release the tension completely by turning the tension bolt clockwise.
4. Allow the leather to air-dry completely on its own.
5. Reapply Saddle Sauce to the underside and raw leather edges. Do not apply it to the top riding surface.
6. Restore the proper tension before riding again.
