Waterproof Bike Seat Kit - Sauce and Cover

Protect your leather saddle before, during and after wet rides. The Selle Anatomica Waterproof Bike Seat Kit combines our Waterproof Rain Cover and Saddle Sauce to help protect your saddle from rain, road spray, and excess moisture.

The custom Rain Cover fits over your Selle Anatomica saddle while you ride, shielding both the top and the vulnerable underside from water. Saddle Sauce provides another layer of protection for the exposed leather on the underside and raw edges of the saddle. Unlike a leather conditioner, Saddle Sauce is designed to protect the leather without softening it.

Apply Saddle Sauce lightly to the underside and raw leather edges, including directly over the serial number sticker. Do not apply it to the top riding surface, and do not use leather conditioners or products containing solvents.

What to Do After a Wet Ride

The Waterproof Bike Seat Kit helps keep your saddle protected in wet conditions, but proper care afterward is just as important. Always remove the Rain Cover after riding in wet conditions so trapped moisture can escape.

If your Selle Anatomica X- or H-series saddle becomes saturated:

1. Bring the bike or saddle indoors to a climate-controlled room.
2. Remove the Rain Cover so any trapped moisture can escape.
3. Release the tension completely by turning the tension bolt clockwise.
4. Allow the leather to air-dry completely on its own.
5. Reapply Saddle Sauce to the underside and raw leather edges once the saddle is fully dry.
6. Restore the proper tension before riding again.
